Satellite Aviation Phone Kits for Aircraft

The Iridium Aeronautical Kit includes an Iridium 9555 handset, exterior single channel antenna kit, 15' FAA-approved coax cable, TNC/BNC bulkhead adapter, and a 5' quick disconnect cable.

With the Aero kits, pilots and passengers can use hands free voice communication through the a multi-mode hands-free interface device (such as the VL-1000 or Flightcell - not included), which links with the existing headset and/or intercom infrastructure on the aircraft. Once the Iridium satellite phone is attached to the headset, the pilot can talk on the phone and still maintain all standard ATC radio communication as a priority over the phone connection.
