Data and Voice Modes

The SkyNode Tracker can be used in both data and phone based modes, allowing you to send reports as well as make voice calls. Using our own web-based mapping service, we can bring flight-following tracking to the desktops of any company. Alternatively, the hardware can be programmed to work with any approved mapping software. Please see the Skynode Voice & Tracker for more information about using SkyNode with Voice.

Global Coverage

As an intelligent TCP/IP terminal, the SkyNode Tracker uses the Iridium satellite constellation to provide truly global mobile tracking and messaging services. The SkyNode Tracker supports SBT and direct internet data sessions. It comes complete with a serial port and input/output ports for custom event triggers and indicators. The SkyNode Tracker is also remotely configurable. Each report from the aircraft includes flight details that can be scheduled on a periodic, polled, or event-driven process.
 
Basic Service - Term of Service is One Year
  • Service requires SIM activation ($50), $15 per month
  • Position reporting $.05 per report, usage fee $1.50 per KB
    • Optional - Data forwarding $40 activation fee (one time), $15 per month
    • Optional - Sentinel mapping service $40 activation fee (one time), $35 per month

Bundled Service

  • Package One:  Setup fee $80 (one time), $80 per month
    • Includes Iridium Access Fee, Data Forwarding, Sentinel Mapping Service and 500 Position Reports per month (Additional reports at $.05 per report)
  • Package Two:  Setup fee $80 (one time), $50 per month
    • Includes Iridium Access Fee, Data Forwarding and 500 Position Reports per month (Additional reports at $.05 per report)
